Guide for Scorekeepers

You will be looking after a "section", which is jargon for a group of about 16 kids. Take a look at this example pairing card, and then look at the simplified pairing rules.,

There are a number of questions-and-answers here, which cover most of the common situations.

Hall and section assignments will be made in the last week of February, with any kind of luck Please go to your Hall when you arrive, and see the Assistant Room Manager, who will make you a name-tag. The Room Manager will give you instructions and a mini-training session on how to keep score.

Please don't look after the section that your child is playing in. Why have room assignments at all? If we don't assign people, everyone tends to go to the room nearest the front door!
